This picture shows a stunning 1.51 carat G VS2 asscher cut (square emerald) diamond with a large table so that it looks more like a 2.5 carat diamond.
The ring can be sized to your requirements.
The diamond is set with small round 8/8 (eight-cut) diamonds to complement the step cut asscher shape. The small diamonds are "microset" all around in platinum ring.
"Microset" means that each small diamond is precision set using a microscope so that it sits in its own individual prongs. It takes great skill and workmanship to handcraft this ring.
The small diamonds around the central asscher help to emphasise the shape of the central diamond and give the impact of a 3.5+ carat diamond!
Less than 1 in 300 diamonds is cut in the asscher shape.
