Stunning radiant diamond solitaire in a handcrafted ring in your choice of platinum or 18ct white or 18ct yellow gold. The picture shows a 2.23 carat diamond. Radiant diamonds have the same outline shape as emerald cut diamonds. However, unlike step-cut emerald cut diamonds, the radiant diamond is a brilliant cut and was specifically designed to give maximum sparkle from an octagonal shape. Hence, radiant cut diamonds positively dazzle when compared to emerald cut diamonds. Less than 1 in 300 diamonds are cut in the radiant shape. Hence at any one time, radiant cut diamonds are not readily available in every possible combination of carat, colour and clarity. The majority of good radiant diamonds are available in sizes from 0.7 carat upwards.
